Calgary Airport (IATA: YYC; ICAO: CYYC), originally named as McCall Field, is the international airport serving the Canadian city of Calgary and all Alberta region. It is located about 17 km away from Calgary city centre. It operates as hub for Air Canada and Air Canada Express. To go from Calgary Airport to Calgary city centre by bus can take between 45 minutes and 1 hour,depending on the traffic and on the concrete destination. There are several bus options to go from YYC Airport to Calgary city centre.

Airport Downtown Shuttle Bus

At Calgary International Airport you’ll find several Shuttle bus options:

- Hotel Courtesy Shuttles: there are several hotels offering this service to their guests. If you want to know more details about the these services, go to the InfoCentres, located at the domestic and the international terminals and there you’ll receive all the information, timetables and details about it. If necessary, you can also call your Hotel from there. The guests pick up area is located on the Arrivals floor. For Domestic Arrivals, please go to Bus Bays 16 and 17.

- Allied Downtown Shuttle Service: it provides (on-demand system) transport between designated pick-up pints at the Calgary city and at Calgary International Airport. Shuttle buses depart every 30 miutes from Bus Bays 19 and 29. You can get the tickets you can go to the Allied Shuttle desk at the Arrivals floor (door 5 and door 12) between 8:00h and 00:00h.

Public Transport Buses

Reach Calgary Transport buses at Bus Bays 7, 8 or 32. Bus bays 7 and 8 are located across the road on the Arrivals floor at the Domestic Terminal. Bus Bay 32 is located on the outer curb on the Arrivals floor at the International Terminal. Calgary tickets can be purchased at two locations in the YYC Airport: Mac’s Convenience Stores on the Arrivals floor and Ticket vending machines located at Bus Bay 7 (debit, credit and coin payment accepted).

- Route 300: a quiet direct bus service to Calgary downtown via Centre Street

- Route 100: is connecting to McKnight-Westwinds LRT Station (LRT Blue Line)

- Route 430: connects with the Northpointe and Sandstone bus terminals

- Route 32: serves YYC’s Global Logistics Park-South, but it doesn’t go to the Terminal building.

- Route 57: it serves the McCall Way to 78 Avenue N.E, but it doesn’t go to the terminal building.
